We manage trade studies to mitigate risk areas in advance of design effort, as well as concept exploration and feasibility studies to define limitations and boundaries of Research and Development (R&D) efforts in order to keep them from overrunning cost and schedule constraints. We support management of Modeling and Simulation efforts through verification, validation, and accreditation (VV&A), as well as post-VV&A use of the M&S as a requirements verification and performance assessment tool.
